How can I donate to Chalo Chatu?
You can make a donation securely online using our official donation link: Donate via PayPal We currently accept most major payment methods supported by PayPal.
What will my donation be used for?
All donations support the mission of preserving and sharing Zambia’s history and free knowledge. This includes:
- Maintaining and hosting the Chalo Chatu website
- Improving editorial tools and resources
- Funding outreach, education, and content projects
- Covering legal and compliance costs
Is my donation tax-deductible?
At present, donations to the Chalo Chatu Foundation are not tax-deductible under Zambian law. If you are donating from outside Zambia, please consult your local tax authority.
Will I get a receipt?
Yes. PayPal provides an automatic receipt when you complete your donation. If you require an additional receipt or a custom acknowledgment, email us at: donations@chalochatu.org
Can I donate anonymously?
Yes. If you wish to remain anonymous, select the “Do not publicly display my name” option when donating or contact us before making your contribution. We will respect your request and ensure your details are not shared publicly.
Can I make a recurring donation?
Currently, recurring (monthly) donations are not available. We hope to introduce this option in the future.
Can I request a refund?
Donations are generally non-refundable. However, if you believe your donation was made in error, contact us immediately at: donations@chalochatu.org Refunds are only granted in exceptional cases as outlined in Chalo Chatu:Donation Terms of Use.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. Donations are processed through PayPal’s secure payment system. The Chalo Chatu Foundation does not store your full credit card or bank details.
