Chalo Chatu:Article Tagging & Labelling Standards
This policy defines the official system of labels applied to articles to indicate the level and nature of verification, sourcing, and review status.
Purpose
Chalo Chatu uses a standardised labelling system to:
- Promote transparency on the status and reliability of each article
- Inform readers about the nature of the information presented
- Distinguish between fully verified content, oral history, and ongoing documentation
Tag Categories
Each article will include one or more of the following tags, placed at the top or bottom of the article using templates.

Requirements:
- All key facts are cited using reputable sources such as books, news media, academic papers, government records, or verified social media statements from official accounts.
