Template:Death date and age/doc

This template displays a person's date of death and their age at death, based on the year of birth.

It is used primarily in infoboxes and biographical sections on Chalo Chatu.

Syntax

{{death date and age|day|month|year of death|year of birth}}

Parameters

• 1 = Day of death (e.g. 4)
• 2 = Month of death (e.g. March)
• 3 = Year of death (e.g. 1989)
• 4 = Year of birth (e.g. 1919)

Example

{{death date and age|4|March|1989|1919}}

Output:

4 March 1989 (aged 70)

Notes

• This template calculates approximate age at death based only on years. It does not handle exact date-based math.
• It is ideal for articles where only year of birth is known.
• If full dates are available (day/month/year for both birth and death), use a separate template like `Template:Death date full`.
