Regina Chifunda Chiluba (died 26 February 2017) was third wife of the second republican President Frederick Chiluba. She was also the former chairperson of women's affairs for the Movement for Multi-Party Democracy (MMD) in Lusaka.

Personal life

In 2002, the Ndola High Court divorced her marriage to Edward Mwanza, and on 6 May 2002 she officially married former President Frederick Chiluba after he divorced his wife Vera Tembo. On 18 June 2011 her husband died from a heart condition.

Death

Regina died at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) on 26 February 2017. Government evacuated to India in November 2016 reportedly battling cancer. She however came back a week before her death and was immediately admitted to the UTH as her condition was deemed terminal.[1]
